Albany Riverfront Park at the Corning Preserve is a waterfront destination for recreation and a variety of entertainment. Since the grand opening in August 2002, Riverfront Park has played host to a full schedule of events appealing to visitors and citizens of all ages.  With easy access provided by the Hudson River Way Pedestrian Bridge, Albany Riverfront Park bolsters an amphitheatre with performance space and seating for more than 1,000 spectators, a new bulkhead, floating boat docks, and a bicycle path for recreation. 

The park creates a highly adaptable space that is able to present a wide range of events.  From the energetic, after work crowd at the Thursday night Alive at Five concert series, to the more discerning taste of the Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival, the park truly accommodates all interests.

The amphitheatre and riverfront create a positive and significant impact on local businesses, residents and visitors alike, infusing a sense of community, elegance and energy to a beautiful and functional addition to historical downtown Albany.
