The FASNY Museum of Firefighting is the home of the premiere collection of American firefighting artifacts in the world. More than 50,000 square feet of fire engines, equipment and gear depict the history of firefighting over the last 300 years. Children’s activities include creative play in select fire engines and interactive activities that are both educational and fun. Whether you’re a family, a firefighter, or a student of history, you will be amazed at the depth and variety of the museum’s vast collection. Open daily 10am-5:00pm. Closed on Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Free admission and wheelchair accessible.

The first distillery in New York to be able to offer tastings and retail sale directly out of the distillery, Harvest Spirits has converted one of the massive cold storage rooms at Golden Harvest Farms into the region's newest micro-distillery. Harvest Spirits makes alcohol from nature's most perfect fruit: the apple, The apples are grown, pressed, fermented, distilled and bottled on site.

Built in 1787, Cherry Hill was lived in continuously by five generations of the Van Rensselaer family until 1963. Since the family's initial ownership, Cherry Hill has been, and continues to be part of a significantly changing community. Changes to the house and in the lives of each succeeding generation reflect the broader community well. The museum opened to the public in 1964, and in the early years, the Trustees, with the guidance of museum professionals, adopted a "preservation site" philosophy for the care and interpretation of the house.

The Hudson River Way is a pedestrian bridge that connects historic downtown Albany to the shores of the Hudson River, offering direct access for pedestrians and bicyclists. The bridge features a unique series of 30 paintings executed in 17th century, Trompe L'Oeil style that tell the story of Albany's history.

The Hudson-Chatham Winery is Columbia County's first winery. Since opening in 2007, its wines have won many awards, including gold medals from the NY State Fair, Hudson Valley Wine & Grape Association, NY Food & Wine Classic, and the Dallas Morning News Wine Competition, among others. In the picturesque tasting room, you can also sample a wide range of locally produced gourmet products, including many Hudson Valley cheeses. The winery hosts events throughout the year, and is also available for private parties. The Hudson-Chatham Winery is a proud member of the Hudson Berkshire Beverage Trail.
